Success Story
Believe it or not, no one ever came looking for this stunning blue merle boy. He was found in Quebec as a stray and once his time was up at the shelter, they called and we took him into rescue. Off he went to his foster home and we found Buddy was a senior boy who was very sweet. He got along well with the foster mom's own small dogs, her cats and pretty much everyone he met. Buddy was an all-around nice senior boy in need of a very special home.
Along came Rosemary who fell in love with Buddy and wanted to adopt him. She and her husband made the drive out to his foster home to meet him, to see how they all got along. When they came home, Rosemary knew Buddy was their boy. She knew she could provide not just a home, but the love Buddy needed in his life. Buddy's name was changed to Max and he seemed to respond to it very well.
Max now lives with Rosemary and her family and is a very much loved part of all of their lives. He is one very lucky boy to have found such a loving home to spend his retirement years in!
