Bugsy (now Ripley)'s Happy Tail

Success Story

Thank-You to Janet K. for fostering Bugsy!
Bugsy was a 9-month-old collie mix who looked a lot like someone took a collie's body and stuck some other breed's head on it.  He was, in fact, just strikingly gorgeous.  He was also a great big bundle of energy.  Bugsy had been adopted by the local Humane Society by a couple who found he was much, much more dog than they could work with.  He came to Collie Rescue Network and into foster care where we agreed, Bugsy was a lot of dog.  He played with boundless energy, he loved with boundless energy and even his "down time" was full of boundless energy.  His foster mom called me one morning....Bugsy was tobogganing.  He was sliding down the hill in the back yard, over and over and over, and he was having the time of his young life.  We knew Bugsy was going to need an adoptive family who could keep up with this young goofy boy.  One who would recognize the fact that Bugsy was full of life and appreciate the joy in his soul.

Along came Laura and Sue, who had previously adopted Mollie from Collie Rescue Network, another young and bouncy collie mix and we agreed, Bugsy would fit right in.  Bugsy went to live with his new family, had his name changed to Ripley and attended "doggie school" with his new sister, Mollie.  Ripley now lives an active happy life that suits him perfectly!
