Thank-You to Wendy for fostering (and then adopting!) Harley!

 

When Harley came to Collie Rescue Network he came with the name "Harry", in jest for his lack of hair.  Harley had allergies that caused almost all his gorgeous collie coat to fall out.  Harley was naked, poor boy!  He had been found tied to a pole and was picked up by the local animal shelter, who then contacted CRN and into foster care he came!

Wendy and her family fostered Harry, changed his name to Harley, and began the slow process of medicated baths and working towards figuring out what Harley was actually allergic to.  It turns out he needed a special diet specially made for dogs with allergies to foods commonly found in processed dog food.  Once on his Duck & Potato diet, and after many, many baths and being slathered in special creams, Harley's coat came back just as beautiful as ever.

Wendy's family decided that Harley fit right into their home and the kids loved him so much that they wanted to adopt him themselves.  Harley now lives with his new family and is a much loved member of the family.
