Rosie's Happy Tail

Success Story

Thank-You to Janet K. and Janet S. for fostering Rosie!!

Rosie came to Collie Rescue Network when her previous owner refused to collect her from the shelter, where she was after being found wandering around town loose, again.  Rosie was apparently allowed to wander around alone and somehow supposed to "know her boundaries".  Paying to pick Rosie up was just one time too many we guess and so Rosie was surrendered to the shelter, who then contacted a great rescue group in her area of Quebec who then called us.

Rosie came to CRN and except for her loathing of being groomed (she really, really hated it!) she showed everyone what a sweetie-pie she was with her gentle ways and her sweet collie eyes begging for more snuggles.  She was quick to learn English (she knew all her commands in French only).  Rosie was happy to take over Top Dog position in her foster home, which worked out fine with her two foster collie sisters, who are big softies and don't care who's the boss as long a someone plays ball with them too.

Rosie stayed in foster care until her new family, Rosemary and Scott, found her on the website and decided this was the girl for them.

Rosie is now busy being loved and pampered in her new home and she has turned into Scott's girl!  Apparently her collie eyes just light up when he comes home and she just loves spending time with her new dad.
