Shelby's Happy Tail Success Story
Thank-You to the Brown family for fostering Shelby!!
Shelby came to CRN when her owner's could no longer keep her as she was "too bouncy" and was jumping up on the grandchildren. She was picked up and taken to her foster home where we found that yes, Shelby was certainly bouncy! Shelby was also just a doll of a collie. Very gentle with the kids in her foster home, taking treats very gently from them and boy did she love to play, play, play. Shelby just loves life. She is a dog that is full of energy to spare and we knew she would have to find a home that would work on her obedience skills along with recognizing that Shelby's bouncy nature was actually a good thing in the right home. Along came the Levy family and they went to the foster home to meet Shelby. It was love all around, Shelby loved the family and the family loved Shelby. Off she went to live with Brent, Kim and their two daughters and, as Kim said shortly after adopting Shelby, "every inch of her is joyful". And it is! Shelby loves life, is joy personified and couldn't have found a more perfect family for her bouncy, goofy collie antics. Shelby attends the girls band practices (well, she waits outside with her new mom), she goes to the park and for lots of walks and in January she will be attending obedience classes with her new family. Way to go Shelby! We wish you many more years of joyful bouncing! ![]() |
