What happens when 1000 Island Dockdogs

gets together with eight local rescue groups?

A splashing good time at an action-packed canine sport, open to dogs of dogs of all breeds and pet lovers of all ages!

Take The Plunge is a two-day outdoor festival (rain or shine) held at the Rideau Carleton Raceway.  There are local vendors, silent auctions, games, demos and representatives from the eight local rescue groups.

Dockdogs is the world’s fastest growing canine sport, involving a 40’ dock and a 40’ pool of water.  It is a canine sporting event that any dog of any breed, size and age can participate in.  It’s fun for the owners, fun for the spectators and loads of fun for the participating dogs!
