Help us to help them!

Collie Rescue Network is staffed solely by volunteers.  We depend on our volunteers for everything from fostering the Collies in their homes to transporting Collies where they need to be.  Volunteers staff the booths at fundraising events, they answer calls about Collies in need, they put up posters, help educate the public about responsible pet ownership......every single thing that happens at Collie Rescue Network is only possible because someone, somewhere has volunteered to do it!

There are so many different ways you can help Collie Rescue Network.  Our two biggest needs are always foster homes and transport volunteers.  Check out the links above to see how to help with these two much needed positions.  

We also always need Newsletter volunteers.  Are you interested in writing about dogs and about Collies in particular?  Can you spend some time interviewing dog related professionals (agility coaches, obedience trainers, a veterinarian, etc.) to create interesting and informative articles for the newsletter?  Do you write poems about your Collies or have a favourite recipe you’d like to share?  Check out the Newsletter Volunterrs link above.

Many of our volunteers are people who put up posters at local vet offices, pet supply stores, off-leash dog parks, etc., for CRN regarding upcoming events, or requests for help or even about Collies searching for homes.  Contact rescue@collierescuenetwork.com if you can put up posters for CRN a few times a year.

And, of course, financial support is always in desperate need.  Most rescues walk a very fine line between “broke” and “just enough for the next dog”.  CRN depends on the kindness of those who support our efforts and we could never continue without them.  Every penny you donate goes directly into the rescue fund to be used to help the Collies in need.  Please think about donation through the link above today!
